Dear Sirs,
Please explain me how could I fill "Ownership Tag" in BIOS from OS via HP BCU or something like this on my HP 260 G2 Desktop Mini PC?
To do it directly in BIOS I first get BIOS via F10 during boot, then I press "Ctrl-A" to get Administrator Mode, than it becomes possible to fill System ID fields.
While trying to use HP BCU (both "old" and "newest" versions) I get error #6 - Access denied. The same code I get when I try to use some PS scripcts which utilize WMI.
So my question is: how to give needed access level for HP BCU to update "Ownership Tag"?
Please also take look at BiosConfigUtility64.exe output:
First it says:
Ownership Tag (ReadOnly)
...while later says:
Ownership Tag
Please note that "Ownership Tag" is successfuly setted via BIOS interface during boot. All passwords are disabled.
