HP ENVY Desktop - TE01-1134
Microsoft Windows 11

Hello! Like it says in the subject, I have an HP ENVY TE01-1134. I want to add in a new graphics card, the GeForce RTX 2060, which requires a 500 watt power supply. The graphics card also requires PCIe power plugs and an 8 pin PCIe connector.

I know very little about how computer builds work, so I'm wondering if this is even possible, which exact power supply I should buy, and if I need to purchase any additional adapters or anything for the 8 pin PCIe connector.

Thanks so much!

@SpaceJacqui,

Welcome to our HP User Forum!

According to: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c06638240, your HP Pavilion Desktop - TE01-1134 (13Z31AA) is fitted with a Baker motherboard (SSID: 8767), and its power supply can be upgraded with an HP 500-watt power supply with p/n: L05757-800.  You can purchase this power supply online, such as via eBay, starting at about $80: HP L05757-800 for sale | eBay.

Hope this was helpful.
