Hi,

When I install the PCI-e to USB 3.1(type-A) card to PCI-e slot then When I boot the system the  POST error message is displayed.

Error message:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
USB Type-C Card Detection Error
43A - USB Type-C I2C Not connected.
Cable is required between I2C on card and USB-C on the motherboard.

I found the service guide that the recommend action is Install cable between I2C on card and USB-C on
the system board, but the USB3.1 adapter card don't have any connection for I2C.

This error message  is gone if I remove this card.

Does anyone know what is this problem ?

  Thanks.
