Hi I have  the - HP Elite Desk 800G1 motherboard it has a proprietary stock fitted Cooler Master heatsink & fan.

I want to upgrade to a hyper 212 Evo cooler master

i will be upgrading the case so  heatsink fan height is not a worry

but my question is:

Can I remove the mounting bracket from the proprietary Stock hp 800 heatsink

And then remove the mounting bracket on the hyper 212 evo

Then put the proprietary HP 800 G1 mounting bracket  strips on the hyper 212 (will the screws align)

I don’t mind it it affects warranty etc on the hyper evo

but is it possible  To align those screws???

Please see pictures To see what I mean Attachment:
