HP EliteDisplay E243
macOS 10.15 Catalina

Hello, I have a couple HP EliteDisplay E243  and I'm trying to connect them to my Dell XPS 2 in 1 (USB-C) and MacBookPro (ThunderBolt).

The display looks to have a USB-C Type-B plug with a cable that converts to USB A  plug. I have a couple different converters from USB-C to USB-A 3.0 but the monitor doesn't work on any of them (including the dell provided YYG9W).

I was going to try to get a straight cable from USB-C type B to USB-C to see if that works but thought I'd ask here first.

I also thought I read that two E243 displays can be daisy chained. Is that possible?

Regards
