Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

my company bought a HP EliteDisplay E243d for my home workplace, great monitor because of the docking capacity and the integrated webcamera. But now I have been upgraded on the laptop and have got a Lenovo X1 carbon - and it doesn't like the monitor much 😞

If I use the USB-C connection with my HP spectre everything works fine; it gets charged, webcamera works and all the usb ports works as well. But if I connect my lenovo the same way - nothing else than the basic monitor functionality works. No usb, no webcamera and most important - no charging.

So I had to change to HDMI because I need the USB-c/thunderbolt  on the laptop for charging, but again only monitor works nothing of the "extras".

Can I do anyting to fix this or is it "just" because HP and Lenovo doesn't coexist well?
