HP Envy All In One 32
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

It started with upgrading from version 1909 to version 20H2 through windows update. The computer after the upgrade would lose all sound but everything else was working. It would tell me there was no audio connected. Nothing I did would solve this issue. I tried device driver updates and installs, Bang & Olufsen updates and driver installs and none of that would work.

You can downgrade back to version 1909 and everything would work but as soon as you do go to windows update and pause updates.

I have windows 10 Home edition and it does not come with group policy editor so I installed it and tried to get the computer to stay on version 1909 but that would not work either since it kept trying to install 20H2 when the computer restarted.

"HERE'S WHAT FIXED" Go to Microsoft's website and download the update directly from there. Here's their website link Windows 10 Update . After the update I am now on VERSION 20H2 with audio and everything is now upgraded and working. I have spent hours and hours trying everything and all it took was doing the update directly from the microsoft website....  SMH
