Hi,

The original system has an 8Gb ram. Recently I purchased 16 GB ram (8Gb x 2) and installed it, but the system doesn't turn on.

In detail,

Beep sound : 3 long beep sound after that 2 short beep sound with red light

Bios Event Error : 2E1-Memory Size Error

Ram detail :

Original Ram : 8GB 1Rx8 PC4-2666V-UA2-11

New Ram ( 8Gb x 2 ) : 8GB 1Rx8 PC4-2666V-UA2-11

System Bios: Q07 Ver. 02.11.01 04/27/2020

Reference Code Revision : 7.0.6E.40

Super I/O Firmware Version : 7.9.50

As you can see, attached files it's exactly the same brand ( SK hynix ) the only difference is, original ram SK hynix KOREA and new ram is SK hynix CHINA .I checked it with CPU-Z it looks exactly the same spec.

Currently I only installed new ram ( 8GB x 2 ), It works fine. In total 16GB ram.

Btw, I used it old ram ( 8GB x 1 ) and it works as well,  but I can't use it  at the same time.

I tested it each slot ( DIMM1,2,3,4 ) with all possible combination, but no luck and I'm lost.🤔

Any ideas and suggestion would be really appreciated, hope I can use my PC with 24Gb ram.

Thanks.
