We have 6 X HP T730 Thin Clients installed on a customer site and roughly every 30 days one of the 3 Thin Clients freezes and the only way to recover is to hard reboot the Thin Client. It seems to only affect 3 of Thin Clients. The hardware has been swapped out, images copied from working ones to failing ones and yet the issue still persists.
We managed to install procexp and there seems to be a problem with service.exe, it uses 25% CPU loading and then the process dies.
The Thin Clients have McAfee installed but correct me if I am wrong but I was led to believe its supported.
The BIOS running on these TC's are quite old but I can't see any fixes relating to freezes in the release notes.
Any support on this would be much appriecated, given that the failure rate is nearly every 30 days, this is proving difficult to troubleshoot.
