Product: HP Z27 Monitor
Operating System: Linux

I'm considering purchasing the HP Z27 monitor based on the excellent review at wirecutter.

I am looking for a flicker free monitor which hopefully does not even use PWM for brightness control

It would be great if it used direct current modulation (DCM)

 

Support (or anyone else) : Does the HP Z27 use PWM? DCM? If PWM, then not great but could you please tell me the PWM rate of flicker in Hz?
