HP Z43 42.5" 4K UHD Display
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I have a problem with Z43 display. I can't get the monitor to display video through USB-C video input.

Problem occurred soon after first testing the monitor. Cable I'm using is StarTech.com 1m Displayport to USB-C video cable. The displayport end of the cable is connected to HP Z2 mini workstation with 4 displayport outputs and USB-C was naturally connected on the Z43 monitor. I was able to get video through USB-C 3.1 to USB-C 3.1 cable using HP EliteBook 850 G6 laptops USB-C video output, but with any adapter cable windows doesn't even recognize the monitor. I've tried to turn off the PIP feature of the monitor, but still no sign of any co-operation. I've also tried other computers with displayport output but still no result, I even tried to use KVM switch in between computer and monitor. It would be great if someone could help me with this problem.

And yes I have tried rebooting everything:)

And also I'm sorry about my not so good english and typos.

Best regards

Jerry from Lujabetoni IT-Department
