HP Z600
Microsoft Windows Server 2016

Hey all,

I have a HP Z600 with motherboard PN: 591184-001. I mistakenly purchased a 96gb kit for a  Dell R510 and received the dreaded memory mismatch beeps. I contacted the seller to see if they can possibly exchange it for the following kit:  https://www.ebay.com/itm/96GB-6-x-16GB-DDR3-Memory-HP-Workstation-Z800/302461016152?hash=item466c14d...

While searching through ebay, I also found the following:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/96GB-6x16GB-DDR3-PC3-10600R-ECC-Reg-Server-Memory-RAM-HP-Z800-Workstation/2...

I cannot tell if either kit would work for my machine. All documentation lists only the z800 can accept 96gb, however I know that the z600 v2 can as well.

This website lists that it is compatible: https://www.greenpcgamers.com/technology/hp-z600-v2-gaming-computer-and-other-hardware-upgrades/ and they suggest this item: https://www.serverworlds.com/dell-mgy5t-16gb-pc10600r-2rx4-pc3l-ecc-reg-module-a6996789/

But that price is double than what I've already spent, and it states it is Dell specific.

What do you guys suggest? Any advice would be much appreciated.
