I want to set up a third display monitor to my desktop. I purchased a sceptre E20 LED monitor. The available ports on the back of this new monitor are either VGA or HDMI for connection. I only have available a USB port (on the back) or a USB-c port (on the bottom) of my HP all in one desktop. When I use the USB-c with a dongle, the computer recognizes the dongle but not the connected sceptre display monitor (when using either of the two ports available on the new display), which says "No Signal" and "Please check your input!", which I have. Do I have to use the USB on the back of the HP or do I need to get a splitter for the hdmi port that the first extra display is already plugged into on the back of the desktop? I want three monitors total. Suggestions for best set up would be appreciated. I would need to purchase a new cable either way, so I just want to be sure I'm getting the correct one. Thanks in advance for the help 🙂
