Product: Sprout Pro G2

I wonder if anyone knows whether the Sprout series has now been discontinued, or whether it is being wound down?

 

I ask because as a key accessory, the 3D Capture Stage has been discontinued and can no longer be purchase new from HP or anywhere else that I can find. Plus, the level of official support on this forum has now dwidled to zero. And there have been no new software additions/updates for many months. Oh, and I've been waiting for two weeks now for a decisive reponse from HP Support to some very straightforward Sprout related questions - despite my enquirery supposedly having been raised to priorty level 2...

 

My hunch is that the project has been a commercial flop that's been unable to stimulate interest from App designers, and that the HP 3d Z Camera released last year was an attempt to recoup at least some of the funds HP must have sunk into R and D for this thing.

 

Any insights into the future of Sprout anyone out there might have would be welcome. Thanks.
