HP vp15s LCD monitor.
Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

This problem has came before 2  days. When I updated (windows 7 32 bit) , the problem started. It is a very critical problem and I don't know how to solve this. The monitor is HP vp15s LCD monitor.

When the monitor shows "input signal out of range

Change the settings to 1024×768-60Hz" ,I checked the screen resolution, there was no change in the screen resolution(it was 1024×768) and the Hz rate was also the same(60hz). After showing the message (input signal out of range.......) within some seconds the monitor goes to sleep. And I had to turn on the monitor and then it shows the same message and goes to sleep after some seconds. Though it shows that message, I can still operate the system, and can click and turn the mouse pointer but it goes to sleep.

But when I turned the screen resolution to 800 x 600, the message was gone. And I could operate the system, but it looks some larger than before. Then I changed the resolution to 1024 x 768 ,but again the message came and goes to sleep. I want to set the normal resolution which is 1024x 768.

The monitor was brought before 5 or 6 years.

Please help me....

I tried to restart the system but didn't work. I plugged off the wires from the CPU and restarted but didn't work.. Please help me...
