Just wondering if HP plans to update its Intel Video Driver and Control Panel (sp111766) which is currently at version 27.20.100.8984 Rev.A to the latest update from Intel released on April 16, 2021 which is version 27.20.100.9466?  Because my users that have version 27.20.100.8984 Rev.A will get the B.S.O.D. from time to time.

From the Intel website, the driver gives you the following warning "Installing this graphics driver from Intel may remove customizations from your computer manufacturer (OEM)."  If you click the "I understand and wish to proceed." button, you can update the driver to the latest version and this resolves the B.S.O.D. issue.  The problem is that the HP Support Assistant doesn't recognize this driver, and if one of my techs or super users decide to run it, it will revert the driver back to 27.20.100.8984 Rev.A  This is very frustrating, because then the PCs begin to crash unexpectedly all over again costing money in lost time.

Unable to contact HP support because the system is down, so I hope that an HP admin can address this issue for us as soon as possible.
