HP pavilion
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I have a HP pavilion desktop that  bought about 6 years ago brand new the other day I turned it on and the monitor said no vga or hdmi input. The computer and lights will turn on and fans spin.  My friend has one just like mine that I hooked up to same monitor with same cables and it works fine.  Iv did alot of research on youtube and goolge and have took the RAM out and back in, still nothing and I took the CMOS battery out and back in, nothing.  I know its not the monitor or cable.  Does anyone have any idea how it can be fixed or is it the motherboard that needs to be replaced.
