HP 24w 23.8-inch Display

Bought this monitor off amazon when my old second monitor died. Checked on the HP website, still well within warranty.

So, the monitor arrives this morning. I plug it in, connect it up to my PC, and notice the power LED on the monitor is off, and pressing the power button on the back yields no results.

I try a different power cable, and then a different power socket. Still no change. The monitor is completely nonfunctional.

Not sure what changed, but now it works. Unplugged it, tried a third cable and a third socket (I have a few options lol), exerted a slightly worrying amount of force on the power cable, and mashed the power button, and it started working. Whatever.

Disregard this post.
