Product: Pavilion HPE h8-1214

I have a few questions before I install Ubuntu. So I had heard of problems on HP computers like mine with the IDT Beats Audio not working in Linux of any kind because there is no driver for it. I heard of some work arounds, but I not sure if any of them work. Does anyone recommend any fix or work around? My next question is if my CPU, a AMD FX-6100 supports PAE or not. Also, please list any problem other wise. Thank you!
