t730 Thin Client

We have ThinPro 6.2 on a t730 Thin Client. We have multiple users that need to have two USB label printers connected at the same time (because they print two different sized labels).  The printer show up with idential URIs.

1. lpinfo -v  shows the following relevant entries:

direct usb://DYMO/LabelWriter%20450?serial=01010112345600

2. lsusb shows the following relevant entries:

BUS 003 Device 006: ID 0922:0020 Dymo-CoStar Corp. LabelWriter 450

BUS 005 Device 002: ID 0922:0020 Dymo-CoStar Corp. LabelWriter 450

3. lsusb -v shows the following relevant entries:

BUS 003 Device 006: ID 0922:0020 Dymo-CoStar Corp. LabelWriter 450

Device Descriptor:

  idVendor               0x0922 Dymo-CoStar Corp.

  idProduct              0x0020 LabelWriter 450

  iManufacturer     1  DYMO

  iProduct                 2  DYMO LabelWriter 450

  iSerial                     3  15100608334104

BUS 005 Device 002: ID 0922:0020 Dymo-CoStar Corp. LabelWriter 450

Device Descriptor:

  idVendor               0x0922 Dymo-CoStar Corp.

  idProduct              0x0020 LabelWriter 450

  iManufacturer     1  DYMO

  iProduct                 2  DYMO LabelWriter 450

  iSerial                     3  16011208123481

As you can see the serial number in the URI (usb://DYMO/LabelWriter%20450?serial=01010112345600) looks like it is supposed to show a serial number. Unfortunately, it is showing some generic serial number. How do I get the real serial number to appear so I can see both printers independently?
