HP EliteDesk 800 G3 Tower
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I just purchased this computer with an hp v244h monitor. I turned it on and everything was working fine. The sound was coming out of the monitor speakers. I used the disk that came with the monitor and updated drivers, etc. Now I cannot get the sound to come out of the monitor. The sound only comes out of the computer.

If I right click on the sound icon and choose playback devices the only thing that comes up is the computer  sound (Conexant HD Audio). The monitor choice has disappeared so I can't choose it.

In Device Manager, under "Sound, video and game controllers" there are both the computer and monitor choices. They are: Conexant HD Audio (computer, listed first); and Intel Display Audio (monitor, listed second).

FYI,  in Device Manager, under Display Adapters is Intel HD Graphics 630.

I could disable the Conexant HD Audio in "Sound, video and game controllers" but I don't see how to get the monitor choice back into the Playback Devices.

Thanks
