HP EliteDesk 800 G5 Desktop Mini PC
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi everyone,

I just bought a HP EliteDesk 800 G5 Desktop Mini PC. It comes with a 9th gen i5 9500T processor, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB SSD. The official data on the HP website says: M.2 type 2280-S1-B-M connector on a PCH Remapped PCIe Controller and Lanes in a x2 or x4 configuration with B-M keys that meet NVMe™ Spec 1.1

The storage inside is a SK Hynix BC501. According to CrystalDiskInfo,  the transfer mode is PCIe 3.0 X 2 (both for the controller and the NVMe SSD).

Is it possible to enable PCIe 3.0 X 4 and install something like the Samsung 970 Evo Plus?

And another thing, I can't get the EliteDesk to work with my HP Z27 4K monitor via USB-C to USB-C cable. Windows says "USB device not recognized". Any suggestions?

Thanks
