Pavilion27-inch Quantum Dot Display
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a Pavilion27-inch Quantum Dot Display which has been working fine for a year. I have a Windows 10 laptop connected to it via a USB-C cable. This morning the Pavilionb screen was black and it said 'No USB-C input detected'.

I know the problem is not with the laptop, because it could connect to another monitor (at the office) via USB-C.

I know the problem is not with the USB-C cable, because I replaced it with a brand new one - still didn't work.

So I conclude that the USB-C port on the HP Monitor has stopped working. Or has it? Is this a common issue?

Any ideas on what to do next. I'm just out of warranty 😞

thanks!
