Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Not sure how this was resolved but issue resolved itself. After the update to win 10 . I experienced 90 + CPU utilization and hundreds of page faults/sec. The page faults were for ekrn.exe & HPKEYBOARDx.exe.
HPKBOARDx.exe was using 30+% of the CPU. I did several restarts and same symptoms. Left the system unused for 12 Hrs and now the symptoms are gone. HPKEYBOARDx.exe now uses on occasion ~1% of CPU and all page faulting has stopped. I did run HP Support assistant performance & maintenance not sure if it resolved this. Passing along this may help others.
