I have a stock HP Elite 7500 MicroTower that was given to me as a gift. I am a little clueless about upgrading PC's etc. The purpose of the PC is for gaming and streaming at the same time. I wish to upgrade the GPU to something like a GTX 1060 or 1070 (around that price bracket) but am unsure if I can just purchase the GPU and plug it in and start playing. Will i have to upgrade the motherboard too? (Current board is the Pegatron Corp. 2AD5). All i know is that it uses the LGA 1155 Socket and i'd imagine buying a GPU with that socket i'd be be able to just install it, but i'd rather ask first.

Thank you!
