Windows 10 1903 is now available through MSDN download and soon will be available through windows update.  Unfortunately, most of the HP software isn't ready for it... Try using HP Performance Advisor.... the computer will crash and restart.  Win 10 1903 has changes in it's video performance also.  It will be using WDDM 2.6 video drivers.  You will loose 2D Video performance too.  Iv'e checked it with "passmark performance test" and my Quadro M4000 Dropped over 200 points in 2D video performance.  That's quite a drop.  Now there is a nVidia hardware update for video cards allowing Display Port versions 1.3 and 1.4.  I installed it and I noticed that windows 1809 2D video performace dropped by 200 points after this upgrade.  Now... I will have to assume that this loss of 2D performance is becaused by the Video Drivers not being up to standard yet.  Everyone is worried about 3D video performance that the 2D performance often gets neglected.  But 2D performance is what makes your windows OS work fast and pretty.  If it's slow, windows interfaces will also be slow too.  Hopefully, HP software will be updated soon so they will work correctly.  It's only a month away for the next windows 10.

Update:  Unfortunately it wasn’t the display port patch that was causing the slowdown in 2D performance. It was Microsoft’s patches for Spectre, Meltdown and Zombieload that is killing 2D performance or windows interface speed. It’s also possible that NVidia’s latest drivers also are contributing to the loss of 2D performance. Everything is oriented towards 3D or gaming performance...  but if your mouse and page scrolling is slow, icons are taking forever to generate... that’s 2D performance at work or lack of it. I have a nVidia M4000... it’s not performaning like a high end video card with it’s 2D performance... but it should be.
