HP Recommended
Product: pavilion 500-420qe
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a HP Pavilion 500-420qe and am thinking about upgrading the cpu in it. The motherboard has the Intel H87 chipset, and the LGA1150 socket.  I already have a GPU installed in the system so I don't need a CPU with graphics built into it like an i7-4790.

 

Will a Xeon cpu like the E3 1271 v3 or the Xeon E3 1241 v3 work in this motherboard?
