Z620 Workstation
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello everyone

My Z620 failed to update the BIOS to version 3.96 (frezee @ 99% on write step), and the result is that now is bricked...

No screen, no boot and fans that ramp at 100% after about 30 seconds.

I have tried the "E15 Crisis recovery" procedure described in the this topic

https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Business-PCs-Workstations-and-Point-of-Sale-Systems/Crisis-Recovery-Ju...

with no luck...

- Unplugged WKS from AC

- Performed CMOS Reset

- Moved the P1 "password reset" Green Jumper

- Moved the E15 switch from pins 2-3 to 1-2

- Removed all extra hardware (2nd CPU, RAM, ecc)

- Plugged a 1Gb FAT32 USB drive in the first USB port

- Insert AC Cord

- Power ON

The problem is that diagnosis led do not start to blink red and i get no beeps from internal speaker.

Just a solid blue light led and fans at 100% after 30 seconds of activity.

Do I miss anything?

How long should I wait before the PC led will start to blink red?

Thanks to anyone that will try to help
