Z840
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a extra Z840 system that we recently added a tesla K40 and a Quadro P2000. The original M5000 had been put into another machine previously (a newer machine that came with the P2000).

The machine runs but the Nvidia control panel has never worked. I've reinstalled drivers several times following the DDU then reinstall procedures but it's never worked.

Also, there are no performance benefits to running NASTRAN with GPU enabled. My suspicion is that there is some sort of driver issue or incompatibility with the P2000 and K40 but I would like to verify before I start trying other configurations. NASTRAN does recognize the GPU but doesn't seem to utilize it.

Note that the HP states for the Z840:

Must have add-in graphics card in addition to the K40. Supported Graphics cards are QK5200, QK6000, QK620, QK2200, QK4200, M6000.

This probably hasn't been updated since the Z840 was being offered for sale so i'm assuming that there are other compatible cards that weren't around when this statement was written. Does anyone know for certain that the P2000 is incompatible? What about the M5000? it lists the M6000 which makes me  think that the "M" family is compatible? Any ideas?
