in Hardwear and Devices i'm getting this (an unexpected error has occurred the troubleshooting wizard cannot continue)

Package ID: DeviceDiagnostic

Path:      C:\WINDOWS\Diagnostics\Index\DeviceDiagnostic.xml

Error Code: 0x8000FFFF

user:      yours truly Smiley Happy

Context:    Elevated

Also (my diagnostic system host service status is not running) not only that i don't have (scripted diagnostics in my registry) i Ran...sfc scannow it's come back saying windows Resoutce Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them. Details are included in the CBS.log windir\logs\CBS\CBS.log. For example C:|windows\logs\CBS\CBS.log. Note that logging is currently not supported in offline servicing scenarios.
