I bought an A1 refurb Z800 last year, don't know atm if the seller is going to assist as it is probably beyond warranty period (enquiry sent) so wondering if forum users can give advice. For various reasons, I didn't get it up and running until last week when I discovered these messages when I power up:
LSI Corporation MPT SAS BIOS
MPTBIOS-6.22.00.00 (2008.04.10)
Copyright 2000-2008 LSI Corporation
Searching for devices at HBA 0...
SLOT ID LMN VENDOR PRODUCT REVISION SIZE\ NV
0 LSI Logic SAS 106 8e-ir 1.25.03.00 NV 2d:06
LSI Corporation MPT boot ROM, no supported devices found!
209-memory warning condition (rd dq dqs) detected slot CPU0 DIMM5
203- memory module failed self test and failing and was disabled slot CPU0 DIMM5
204-memory module failed and user rank was disabled slot CPU0 DIMM6
Can anyone here explain what is happening and give me directions for fixing this? My knowledge of pc hardware is fairly basic but we do have an electronics engineer in this company and if I need to obtain and replace parts that should be possible.
