Product: E243m monitor
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)
The pop up webcam does not work on my new E243m monitor. I have disabled the ASUS laptop webcam, and downloaded and installed a driver called HP Webcam Firmware update. It says no camera device found. I also successfully downloaded the Display/Monitor driver. Have re started several times.
The product manual tells you how to raise the camera and how to lower it; nothing more!! The monitor works fine otherwise, using a HDMI connection from laptop. The ASUS webcam works fine on the monitor, if I re enable it.
The webcam is not listed in the Device Manager tab.
Any advice would be much appreciated.
