Greetings,

I have noticed some weird behaviour with my Omen laptop when it comes to fan profiles.

I am usually getting from 88ºC to 94ºC during heavy loads while gaming (with a cooling pad working max) and as such decided to try to enable comfort mode in Omen Command Center since it states it helps lowering CPU and GPU temperatures.

Weird observation nr. 1: The comfort profile/setting actually ramps the fans more agressively than the Default setting

Weird observation nr. 2: After going back to the default setting, the fans completely stop working when the cpu temperature is below 60ºC. Is this normal at all? Should it not have got back to the default setting where the cpu fan is running constantly rather than completely turning off? I am somewhat afraid this could damage any internals since it is runs with NO fan/ventilation until it reaches 60ºC or above.

Thank you.
