HP Reverb G2
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My right Reverb G2 controller had been working fine yesterday but when I tried to use it several hours later, it would not turn on when I pressed the Windows button for two seconds (normal startup method).  Nothing unusual happened that could possibly explain this.  I tried multiple sets of batteries to rule out that possibility.

In frustration, I then tried multiple button press combos.  Finally (and much to my surprise) the controller turned on when I pressed the Windows button and the grab button at the same time.

It seemed to operate normally after that, but now that is the only way I can turn it on.  The Windows button alone no longer will turn on the controller.  However, the Windows button still seems to function normally in WMR once the controller is on.

This is not an acceptable solution and I will still contact HP, but I wanted to post this in case anyone else has the same issue and needs a quick fix.  I was not able to find anything similar with Google search.
