HP Omen 15 Laptop 15-dc0xxx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hola -

Just a week ago my laptop would shutdown completely when disconnecting AC power. Have had the laptop for less than 2 years.

Did the HP diags on the laptop and in the BIOS for AC adapter and  battery...and it PASSES all diags.

In the bios testing, there is a note:

"If the system cannot power on without AC power, please replace the primary battery. (601)"

Questions:

1. Anyone have this happen, pretty surprised it did as I've owned this laptop less than 2 years.

2. Where can I buy this battery? I am out of warranty and tried using the HP tool to buy the battery, but it doesn't have my model of OMEN by HP Laptop 15-dc0xxx or product number of 3WE66UA#ABA

Here is the URL where I checked on hp.com for replacement parts, and the battery doesn't even show up 😕

Please help, I need to fix this thanks!
