HP Recommended
Product: Omen 17 -an110nr
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I bought an Omen notebook because it was on a list of recommended, compatible devices on the Oculus site. I have connected an Oculus Rift to other devices successfully. After I go through the Oculus setup on the Omen I don't get any video appearing in the headset. However, I do hear snippets of audio from the opening of the Oculus tutorial. I have tried plugging the Oculus into the HDMI port and into the mini display port using an adaptor. When I plug into the mini port I don't get any audio, I have updated the NVIDA graphics card driver. I also tried changing the NVIDIA settings to "maximum performance" which was suggested in another thread.

Any ideas. If I can't get it to work I will return the laptop since it was bought specifically for using it with the Oculus Rift.
