Hi, I am installing a second SSD M.2 under the GFX card. Beneath the SSD2 plastic cover, there is a grey rubber-like sponge that is glued to the mainboard. What is that for, and do I need to remove it before inserting the M.2 SSD? Also, do I need to put back the plastic SSD2 cover after inserting the SSD?

I have checked YouTube, but none showed the grey rubber-like sponge that comes with the SSD2 slot in Omen 25L.

Appreciate any help and advice.

Thank you!
