Product: OMEN by HP Laptop 17-an0xx

My laptop can handle high tempertures (to where the keyboard is eminating heat) but whenever it's in a game that has a launcher (Fortnite, World of Tanks, etc) the screen blacks out while maintaining sound and power but the only way to "fix" it is to force shutdown it. I don't get why my laptop gets this problem when playing games with launchers and not with any other game.
