Hi,

Had this problem of brightness controls on 2560p

 

symptoms: Unable to control brightness through the hotkeys, that is using fn+f9 or fn+f10 for brightness down or up.

 

remedy: uninstall hp hotkeys in add/remove programs, re-install hotkeys drivers from hp website by selecting windows 7 operating system even if you are using windows10.
