Product: HP ProBook 440 G6
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Hi folks! I have a HP ProBook 440 G6 and a Llama 4K ProLite screen which supports DP and HDMI.
- When I connect the screen via HDMI the refresh rate in 4K can be maximum 30Hz which is really not smooth for working.
- When I connect the screen via DP on my HP USB-C Universal Dock, I can have 60Hz BUT the USB-C-DP-connection causes a high frequency digital noise in my speakers due to digital magnet fields (which is a common problem with USB-C as I have read). On top the Display Link driver requires additional CPU, which is not nice for real-time apps such as video editing.
Any ideas how to connect a 4K screen with 60Hz but without annoying noise? 🙂
