Product: HP Notebook - 17-ak092cl
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
According to the maintenance and service guide, I can add a 256GB SSD Drive. HP part number 865902-015. Can I install the operating system on this drive and make it the boot drive? Would there be any disadvantage to doing so? How much of a speed increase might I expect?
I am currently only using 129 Gb of the 917 Gb allocated to the C drive. I currently have 12 Gb of memory and I am considering upgrading to 16 Gb of memory by removing the 4 Gb module and replacing it with a 8 Gb PC4-2400 modual (HP Part 862398-855).
Thank you
