HP Pavillion p6-2027
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Dear IT Experts,

I hope there is someone out there who can help me.

My stepmother has an HP Pavillion p6-2027 with HDD which was very slow. I offered her to make the PC faster and installed an SSD (Samsung 860 Evo 250GB) with Windows 10 64-Bit.

After the installation was done I encountered following issue:

When I shutdown windows the case led and fans are still running. The SSD appears to be shutdown as there is no indication on the case blinking anymore.
The full shutdown how it should work with windows is only possible if I press the power button on the case for a few seconds then everything is turned off.

What I tried to fix the issue but didn‘t help:

- CMOS reset via battery and jumper

- Disabled Hypernate and fast startup

- Reinstalling windows

- Checking all MB connections

- Windows updates

- HP support assistant (no issues)

- No bios update available for this MB

- BIOS settings reset

PC is running on AMD so IME update was no option to get this issue fixed.

Any ideas which could help to fix the issue is highly appreciated!
