Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

hi - I have this laptop, and I have it connected to an Audio engine B1 bluetooth receiver -

https://audioengineusa.com/shop/adapters/b1-bluetooth-music-receiver/

which is used in my setup as - HP envy laptop -> B1 -> Cairn hifi

and I typically use amazon music to play music...

when I first got my B1 I assumed it was the AptX version and the sound quality is spot on - close enough to cd.. but open checking the serial number it's confirmed that I have the HD version, but I'm not sure if I'm utilising the HD tho - the orange light comes on the B1 which indicates that I'm using AptX (but not sure about HD)

it's been suggested that I need HD support end to end - but is it enough that my B1 supports HD and nothing else? (i.e. does I need the HD codec on my laptop for example?)

does anyone know if I can get the AptX HD codec for windows 10 - google doesn't come up with anything.. :(

anyone have any ideas?
