hp envy 13 d061na
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

When I start my HP Envy 13 d061na, the system boots however the screen remains blank.

In this case, I set the laptop to allow sign in by finger print and this flashes. I use my finger print to log in. Once logged in I can then use Windows key + Ctrl+shift+B to reboot the video driver (may need a few applications) and I can then see my screen.

Can anyone tell me what is actually going on and how I can get the screen to appear without needing to use  Windows key + Ctrl+shift+B?

Before I discovered this key combination to reload the video driver, I had to use ctrl+alt*delete and esc multiple times to break the load sequence. It should be noted that once I had got the screen to show, if I rebooted then the screen would display with no issue. If I shut down and did not restart within 30 seconds then I would have to break the load sequence again.

As can be seen, I can still use my laptop but I really would like to get to the bottom of this. The system has all the latest drives.

Any guidance much appreciated.
