Pavilion x2

I attempted a factory reset to clear space so I can update to recent version of windows 10. I received the error: cannot complete factory reset. I clicked cancel, then it attempted to boot normally. I received the CMOS 502 error, and whether or not I press enter, the computer attempts to boot on it's own, but is now perpetually alternating between the HP startup logo and a black screen, with the webcam light turning on at random. Hopefully someone that has any helpful technical knowledge, as well as the ability to get around Murphy's Law concerning my luck with HP in general, and this Pavilion x2 thing, that has been nothing but a headache since I first got it and has been gathering dust for more than 6 months since the last time I attempted to update and many similar issues. Also, apparently the system is running windows 10, but I have no idea which variant of windows 10 it is.
