Hello!

 

My motherboard has broken down and I need to acquire a new one. However, PartSurfer is giving me differing opinions on these two parts:

  • MOTHERBOARD DSC 950M 4GB i7-5500U (813682-001)
  • MOTHERBOARD DSC 950M 4GB i7-5500U WIN (813682-601)

Although the only obvious difference is the first one has been succeeded by the second one and is no longer purchasable, the second part does not seem to be "avaliable yet", whatever that means. Since the chat support is not able to give me a clear answer on the difference between these two, or an estimated time frame for when the latter will be restocked, what is the answer to either of those questions? (A price tag would also be nice since PartFinder does not have that either.) Also, I was going to ask something else related to this here, though I will post it as a reply when I remember again.
