HP Envy x360 – 13t Notebook
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

After Turning on the laptop or Restarting it, I find that:

Settings>Sound>Output = "Speakers(Conexant ISST Audio)",             as it should.

However, after running for a while, suddenly I get no audio,. Checking, I find that:

          Settings>Sound>Output= "No output devices found"

(Note: Settings>Sound >Input is not affected.)

I found a fix: Running UIU64a.exe, the Installer/Uninstaller in the Conexant software,  fixes it.

Also, Restart fixes it.

But the problem continues to return at seemingly random times.

Tried Windows Troubleshooter,  HP Support Assistant Audio Check, HP Support Assistant Troubleshooting 'No Sound from the Computer", Reinstalling the Driver, etc., and cannot find and fix cause of problem.

Any ideas about what could be causing this problem to continually reoccur?

Or what I could do to prevent the problem from occurring, rather than having to run UIU64a.exe to fix the problem every time it occurs.

Thank you
