First time taking a laptop apart so a little inexperienced, but I'm pretty sure I didn't connect the touchpad properly (and indeed I didn't because it's not working now haha) but I have absolutely no idea what went wrong with the audio.

Troubleshooting yields no results. Internal speakers simply do not work, even though everything looks fine in the device manager and all my drivers are up to date. Earphones/external speakers connected at the front with an AUX cable only produce sound on the left side and the right side has a buzzing sound. Does anybody know which cables/connections within the laptop correspond to the speakers/audio?

I broke off a plastic piece or two when I was taking the front part off (to get to the motherboard) but it's just grey plastic from the outside of the laptop.

After putting everything back together I noticed that I was left with 3 extra screws :OO (none of them would go back to their original place, screwing them didn't do anything - I am referring to two screws keeping the SSD in place and one of the three screws located beneath the battery right along the edge).

the Laptop is around 4 years old and probably cleaned only once before by the previous user.

Would appreciate any help/advice. Many thanks
