I have auto typing issues in my laptop. Most of the time the windows key gets pressed (confirmed by on screen keyboard) and then many times windows resize automatically, auto key presses etc. There are no keys whatsoever which is pressed. I even replaced my keyboard. Then I found the issue is not with keyboard, but there is another connector which powers the power key, wifi button and browser opening button. When I removed that wire after starting my laptop there were no issues with any key press. I have reconfirmed the same multiple times.

Is it a hardware issue? My laptop is old and there is no support for same from HP customer care. Now what I want to know is following.

1) Is it a hardware issue or driver issue?

2) If its hardware issue, then the issue is with the motherboard on which there is this pin to fit this wire (small but similar to that we have for keyboard) or the issue might be with the wire assembly?

Is there some hack for it.... What i do is after starting the laptop, i remove this wire. But in this case i have to keep my keyboard loose to access this. I cant keep keyboard loose every time. Also if I fit the keyboard, i wont be able to remove this wire and again fit it before restarting the laptop as my power button does not work without this wire.
