HP Pavilion 15-cw1039nb
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello! I recently installed an update on my windows 10 that somehow also updated the BIOS. The installation failed and it's stuck at trying to recover the BIOS. I went through some of the solutions that are out here on HP's forum but I couldn't find one that's working for me. So far, I've tried to create a recovery flash drive but failed because the app didn't want to open (after the installation of the recovery utility on another machine). Is there a way to recover my BIOS using a usb recovery stick? Or does this model (Pavilion 15-cw1039nb) need another motherboard?

(Another thing to mention is that I have 2 OS's installed that I dualboot, Windows 10 + a linux distrobution.)

Thanks!
